EDIT: if you look at win 98 icons and such you'll notice they all use the same type of bright, saturated colors that tend to use a completely different color for shading

i typically take inspiration from uekawa's art while also keeping the limbs spindly, because i just think it looks great, thank u 🙏🙏

[Thunder, Rain and Lightning]

Not only at first watch this is astounding, you can actually take a deeper look on it and there are some really fun details. Zero drowning and others drowning, eggman falling, the orca hecking dead. Every area of the game it's present and every character has their respective upgrades.
Also birdies face it's beyond beatyful.

It's really cool when people try to and nail the original artstyle of the thing they're drawing but when someone does something like this one their own way while adding elements of the artstyle into the mix is just delicious to see. Fantastic

Probably the most ideal classic version of him I have seen. From his spikes being borrowed from Super Sonic to the simplification of his bracelets and shoes. Fantastic

I prefer the toonier original designs of sonic characters but I like when people make them more human while getting them right, I wouldn't be able to. It would look like Ken Penders but not hilarously ugly but just, ugly and boring. Boring is rarely funny
